I decided to write Soeurs ( Marina & Audrey ) in October 2017, the day after the first repetition at the Bouffes du Nord Theater of the scene between Marina Hands and Audrey Bonnet in Actress. Writing or staging is answering calls. There, neither Marina nor Audrey do not ask me anything. They repeat. But what I see in front of me is so strong. The energies are so complementary that I decide to respond to these forces with these combined energies. I see that day what Soeurs ( Marina & Audrey ) will be a few months later. An immense conflict between two people that everything separates and everything brings together. A fight to death. Feet on feet. Words to words. Body to body. To say through this violence between sisters only one thing : the love they feel.
